Brought to you by the folks over at Lifehacker is a nice little handful of scripts (bash and python) that makes simple TODO managing not so difficult. Todo.txt is a nice bash script that manages todo lists in a simple plain text fashion. Nothing too complicated. It even allows you to break things down into projects, and such too. Very nifty. Windows users will probably want to grab a copy of cygwin as well.
In addition, they also have a nifty little Python script called Birdseye that can give you a nice overview of your projects.
Ever had a todo list so long that you easily lose track of things? And when you finally remember them, they make you want to avoid them? Here is some advice that seems quite good. Might have to give it a shot as I know I have a handful of projects on the back burner that I just keep putting off…

Notice the extra option at the bottom of the MMC window? That should be a “close” like it is on every single application except mmc… argh wtf? I’m forever clicking on it instead of close. And then you have to wait 30 seconds for the help thing to come up.
It can’t say much for me when my last 3 posts are about boobs, porn, and lesbians.
