For an upcoming project, we started moving an external vendor off of a Microsoft PPTP VPN tunnel (per user client), to a fixed VPN tunnel using IPSEC, and handled at the gateway. We deployed Veritas’ DLO for a manager a few months ago after a laptop rebuild. Mostly because he spent several hours a week making regular backups of his documents folder. A pointless exercise when we have the software to handle backups for him.
